TETZLAFF-TETZLAFF-VOGT TRIO
SUNDAY APRIL 28 2019 at 3:00PM I VANCOUVER PLAYHOUSE
Three of the most prominent performers in classical music — violinist Christian Tetzlaff, cellist Tanja Tetzlaff, and pianist Lars Vogt — embark on their first trio tour of North America in three years. Their touchdown in Vancouver on their first tour was so successful that we jumped at the opportunity to hear them again. Meanwhile, their recording of the Brahms Piano Trios was nominated for a Grammy Award.
“It was sophisticated music making, joyously conveyed and received in kind, a rare and memorable evening.” — The Whole Note
MOZART: Trio No. 1 in B- at Major, K. 502
SHOSTAKOVICH: Trio No. 2 in E minor, Op. 67
SCHUMANN: Trio No. 1 in D minor, Op. 63
